Research Assistant / Research Technician / Scientist
Research specialist in proteomics Full-time
The Sidoli lab is looking for a Research Specialist to work with us in the Einstein Proteomics Core (https://einsteinmed.org/research/shared-facilities/proteomics/). Our lab works with state-of-the-art mass spectrometry, innovative cell culture models and unusual sample collecting methods such as breath biopsies to investigate proteomes and other small molecules in health and disease. The research and the service part of the lab are seamlessly merged in the same lab space and work together on most projects.
We are currently a team of 8 people, of which 3 are officially members of the Core. We are looking for a person to be mainly involved in Core projects, but also participating to our own lab activities. This could be a good opportunity for e.g. a student interested in enriching the CV prior applying to grad school, or anyone interested in improving skills in -omics data processing in general. We will prioritize candidates with background in cell biology, biochemistry and/or analytical chemistry.
