We are looking to hire a full time research assistant (aka technician) to spearhead an independent project on how histones can act as regulatory molecules without incorporation into chromatin. Duties will focus primarily on collecting and analyzing data from microscopy and molecular biology based assays and Drosophila genetic crosses. Previous experience with Drosophila, microscopy, and/or image analysis would be a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more lab experience before applying to research-intensive PhD programs or a more experienced scientist looking to learn new skills.
