The research interests of the laboratory revolve around understanding the genetic and molecular mechanisms involved in the development of complex chronic diseases using modern genomics (RNA-sequencing, ChIP-sequencing, HIChIP, single-cell RNA-seq), systems biology and causal inference approaches.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated PhD candidate interested in genomics, bioinformatics and molecular biology to join the team in order to pursue his/her studies. Details of the project will be discussed according to the expertise of the successful candidate.
Master degree in one of the following fields or equivalent: bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, mathematics-informatics;
Strong programming skills (Bash, R, python);
Experience in genomic data analysis (e.g. ChIP-sequencing, ATAC-sequencing, GWAS, RNA-sequencing, genome 3D);
Very good statistical skills for genomic data processing;
An analytical mind that enjoys solving complex problems;
Very good writing and presentation skills: English and French.
Personal qualities sought:
