Two collaborating groups, located in state-of-the-art research Centers located at the College de France and the Ecole Normale Supérieure, in the historic center of Paris, are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral fellow to conduct a project on the devlopment of novel calcium imaging methods to record neuronal activity in freely-behaving mice, in order to investigate hippocampal dynamics underlying learning and memory.
The candidate will have expertise in : brain surgery in mice, recording neuronal activity using calcium imaging and electrophysiology (LFP), animal training, data analysis.
