We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in both basic and translational biomedical research, particularly in cancer epigenetics, to join the Wang Lab at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. We welcome individuals with a PhD, MD or PhD/MD degree in basic molecular biology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, or computer science. Applicants should send a brief statement of research experience and/or interest along with their resume. Our lab is interested in studying the function of chromatin remodeling SWI/SNF (mBAF) complex in development and cancers. This position will be funded by an NIH/NCI R01 grant. Candidate should have either extensive background training in wet-lab epigenetics (ChIP, RNA, ATAC-seq etc) or computational background in analyzing NGS datasets. We use both cancer cell lines and primary patient samples, combined with mass-spec proteomics and NGS (CUT&RUN, HiChIP, scRNA/ATAC-seq) to study the contribution of SWI/SNF mutation to tumor development.
