Seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our Breast Cancer Research program to study hormone receptor signaling and mechanisms of drug resistance and approaches to overcoming therapy resistance in breast cancer. The studies would enable the Postdoc to learn a lot about cancer biology, and the biochemistry, and molecular and cell biology of factors promoting aggressiveness of breast cancer and other cancers, and aspects of drug development. It would also allow them to work with various experimental cancer and metastasis models. Current projects utilize molecular and cell biology, genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses, pharmacology and preclinical experimental animal models. We are a friendly and interactive group that encourages independence and leadership.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, Bioengineering or related disciplines. Candidates with MD or DVM degrees and appropriate research experience will also be considered.
