The Bozza lab in the Department of Neurobiology at Northwestern University seeks a postdoctoral fellow to study mechanisms of monoallelic expression of olfactory receptor genes, and cell type specification in olfactory sensory neurons. NIH funded project involves genetic and epigenetic analyses (single-cell RNAseq, HiC/SPRITE, ChiPseq, CRISPR-based genetic modification in mice) to study odorant receptor gene choice and phenotypic diversification among sensory neuron cell types.
