Postdoctoral positions in Neuroscience at Yale University Full-time
The Dragoi laboratory at Yale University is inviting applications for postdoctoral positions to investigate the functional organization of neuronal ensembles in hippocampal-neocortical circuits. The lab is focused on understanding the emergence (ontogeny), organization and plasticity of cellular assemblies in the hippocampus and associated brain areas underlying internal representation of space and time during learning/memory and navigation. Studies are performed on freely-behaving rodents (mice and rats) using large-scale electrophysiological recordings, optogenetics, and computational/quantitative analysis.
The ideal candidate would have a background in Neuroscience or related fields, a record of scientific publications, good oral and written communication skills. Previous experience with in vivo electrophysiology, quantitative data analysis and computer programming in Matlab are all preferred. Successful candidates would be highly motivated, learn quickly, and have a good degree of independence.
