Postdoctoral Fellowship in Tissue Engineering at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering Tallahassee, FL, USA
A Postdoctoral Fellow is sought to join the Nanobio Materials and Robotics group at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) and the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. The individual will work on a series of NSF and NIH projects related to organ engineering, 3D Bioprinting, and mechanobiology.
Applicants interested in regenerative medicine, 3D tissue engineering, biomaterials, microrheology, and are encouraged to apply.
The position offers a wide range of professional development opportunities though the NHMFL, Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Florida State University (FSU), including participation in exciting government funded frontier science and engineering, mentoring experience, and the potential for initiating new independent research.
The applicants must have proficiency in working with animal models.

Experience and Skills Sought:
• PhD in Bioengineering, Biology, Immunology, or other relevant discipline.
• Experience with animal handling and primary cell culture.
• A track record of quality publications with excellent writing skills is essential.
• Advanced training in vitro techniques and assays (cytotoxicity, angiogenesis, immunohistochemistry, protein and gene expression assays)
• Knowledge in image processing and optical microscopy.
• Team player with outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Start Date: Evaluation of applications will begin immediately, with a start dates as early as July 2022. The position is for an initial period of one year, with a possible extension to a second and third year.
