The Transregio TRR 305 is a DFG-funded collaborative research consortium between the Universities of Regensburg, Erlangen, and the Fraunhofer Society (https://www.experimentelle-medizin.de/verbundforschung). It focuses on the mechanisms of early metastasis formation with the goal to identify novel therapies to effectively treat systemic cancer. It will become one of the largest metastasis research consortia in Europe with an expected duration of 12 years. It comprises 18 research and three core projects.
