The Lagana Lab at Mount Sinai, New York, is seeking a bioinformatician or research assistant in cancer genomics and precision oncology. The bioinformatician will lead and support integrative cancer genomics and precision oncology projects using advanced computational methodologies, analyze results, and review and present data for publication and/or presentation.
The bioinformatician will work and collaborate with other bioinformaticians, biologists and clinicians in the Tisch Cancer Institute and the Multiple Myeloma Program at Mount Sinai. The main focus will be on the analysis of bulk and single-cell next-generation sequencing data and the integration of clinical and omics data for biomarker discovery and therapy prediction.
This position is highly collaborative, and applicants must be comfortable in a dynamic research environment comprised of students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
