Position Description
The Lagana Lab at Mount Sinai, New York, is looking for a post-doc to develop and apply computational methods for integrative analysis of cancer genomics data with precision oncology applications. The post-doc will process and analyze sequencing and clinical data of multiple myeloma patients to discover genetic and molecular features of disease pathogenesis and progression, and drug resistance.
The post-doc will work and collaborate with bioinformaticians, biologists and clinicians in the Tisch Cancer Institute and the Multiple Myeloma Program at Mount Sinai. The approaches used will include network modeling, analysis of next-generation sequencing and clinical data and machine learning.
This position is highly collaborative, and applicants must be comfortable in a dynamic research environment comprised of students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
