Postdoctoral Fellow in RNA Biology / Therapeutics Full-time
Postdoctoral position in RNA biology
A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Jeff Coller (Johns Hopkins Medical Institute). The position will be in collaboration with a major biopharma company to help develop the next generation of mRNA vaccines / therapeutics. The qualified individual will work closely and interface with biopharma in the refinement and development of these RNA-based approaches. While candidates with a wide range of expertise will be considered, applicants with a background in RNA biology and biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Expertise in RNA-based techniques, basic molecular biology, cell culture work and biochemistry is required. In particular, applicants with experience in the biochemistry of RNA/protein interactions is a plus. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent and have no more than two years of post-doctoral experience. Successful applicants should have a strong background in gene regulation and cell biology.
