The 4D Nucleome Research Center at Johns Hopkins University is looking for multiple postdoctoral fellows to study chromatin functional dynamics. As part of the JHU 4D Nucleome Center, the fellows would be co-mentored by Prof. Carl Wu, Prof. Taekjip Ha, Prof. Margaret Johnson, and Prof. Reza Kalhor. They will be a part of the NIH 4D Nucleome Consortium, participate in its annual meetings, and have opportunities to develop new collaborations as well as independent projects. Candidates with either experimental or computational experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will be scientifically driven, well-organized, and self-starter with a strong record of presenting research results through publications. The candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Research experience in at least one of the following relevant areas would be preferred:
Genomics, multi-omics, or single-cell omics, 3D genome organization
Mouse genetics and developmental biology
Computational genomics
Cell scale modeling, dynamical systems
Self-assembly, statistical mechanics
Transcriptional regulation, DNA repair
