A postdoctoral position is available with Dr. Lisa Archibald, Professor and Director of the Language and Working Memory Lab. This position is available to begin immediately, and recruitment will continue until it is filled. The position would be for 2 to 3 years.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Psychology or a related field. The successful applicant will ideally possess research experience running clinical trials related to language and literacy learning in school age children. The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
The candidate will lead a pragmatic trial focusing on optimization of reading intervention components for struggling readers. Working with a project team, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of the study including data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation.
This position is full-time. The salary will be commensurate with experience but competitive with current scholarships. A university benefits package is also included. Travel funds are available to present study findings at a scientific meeting or conference.
