A postdoctoral position is available in Hua Wang’s lab at the Lundquist Institute/Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to study DNA damage repair, genomic instability, and stem cell differentiation/transdifferentiation. We employed a variety of genetic, biochemical and cell biological tools to elucidate molecular and cellular mechanisms during the cancer development with human cell lines and mouse models. Highly motivated and passionate applicants are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications for the position include Ph.D. or M.D. degree(s), molecular biology techniques and mouse model experience. Previous experience in DNA damage repair or genomic instability is a plus but not required. Excellent written and oral communication is required in this collaborative environment. Salary is based on both NIH and UCLA guidance, commensurate with experience.
Interested applicants should submit the following documents assembled into one PDF file to email@example.com: 1) A Cover Letter describing your interest in this position; 2) a full CV; 3) names and contact information of three references. The recruitment is on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. The Lundquist Institute is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer.
