We are seeking a self-motivated investigator who has a strong background in biochemistry, cancer cell biology, CRISPR-based screens, and/or small molecule drug discovery. The ideal candidate is a strong bench scientist who can think creatively and has a proven track of success in a laboratory setting (i.e. a first author publication). A PhD and/or MD is required for this position. Some of our ongoing projects include (i) identifying the ubiquitin-dependent enzymes that control cancer cell survival, (ii) elucidating the molecular basis for ubiquitin-dependent gene regulation, and (iii) developing small molecule inhibitors that target the ubiquitin-proteasome system. The postdoctoral fellow will have the necessary resources to carry out an independent research project, including access to technicians, and will hold academic appointments at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, and a list of references with contact information to Eugene Oh at firstname.lastname@example.org. Multiple positions are currently available, and this posting will remain open until positions are filled. Applicants are encouraged to apply early. Further information is available at https://www.ohlabs.org.
