Biochemical-Genetics & Diagnosis of Inherited Metabolic Diseases
The group of Dr. Markus A. Keller is looking for an enthusiastic scientist to strengthen our Biochemical Genetics Team at the Institute of Human Genetics, Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, to join us at the next possible date as a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow.
The successful candidate will contribute to the biochemical genetics focus of the institute by combining expertise in advanced laboratory techniques with a keen interest in inherited metabolic diseases. This includes designing and implementing scientific projects, as well as proactively developing your own research area. An important task is to develop and establish new LC-MS/MS approaches and biochemical assays for metabolic biomarkers, as well as managing and supervising the respective processes in our analytical lab. For this, you will closely collaborate and communicate with clinicians, and take responsibility for generating reliable data for diagnostic reports.
