Nanovery is seeking experts in DNA nanotechnology to join our scientific team in building the core technology pillars of our innovation. We welcome candidates from all strands of DNA nanotechnology, but especially those with a creative bent that would enjoy working in a tight-knit interdisciplinary team.
This is a highly collaborative role and will involve working closely with our R&D team to develop bespoke solutions using DNA nanotechnology. Early on it will be essential that you fully engage in knowledge transfer with the team to understand state-of-the-art and product applications.
We expect that the candidate will work closely with DNA nanotechnologies experimentally in the lab to deeply grasp real-world design principles and constraints that will be implemented in silico during design work.
Our Laboratories are based at the Biosphere in central Newcastle upon Tyne, a characterful city in Northumberland which is one of the most beautiful counties in the UK. Our location also provides lots of opportunities for exploring neighbouring Scotland, the Lake and Peak Districts. It will be necessary for you to be able to commute or relocate for this role as it is largely laboratory-based, however we offer flexible working hours and working from home can be accommodated for desk-based days.
