We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Post-Doctoral researcher to characterize the role of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) unfolded protein response (UPR) in the development of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The candidate will work with an integrated multidisciplinary team with different scientific fields including cell biology, advanced imaging (single-molecule tracking), theoretical modelling, and clinical research. The project will include in vitro biochemical and cell biology assays, molecular genetics, CRISPR-based screens, cell-based and patient-derived cells, and analysis of changes in gene expression.
The work will be conducted within the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (www.thibaultlab.com).
