The New York Structural Biology Center (NYSBC) seeks an electron microscopist to join the staff of the Simons Electron Microscopy Center (SEMC) (semc.nysbc.org). The facilities include 13 transmission electron microscopes (with seven Titan Krios instruments) and 2 dual-beam scanning electron microscopes equipped with cryo stages. This individual will primarily be a cryoEM specialist who will assist users of the facility to carry out service experiments and will also have the option to pursue collaborative research projects. The individual should be capable of multitasking, should enjoy working with other people, should have a good working knowledge of electron microscopes and a strong research background. Good communication skills are essential. Salary commensurate with experience.
