A postdoctoral research position is available in Shamsi lab (https://www.shamsilab.com/) in the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at the New York University. The Shamsi lab studies the adipose stem cells and niche to understand the fundamental mechanisms regulating metabolic health and disease. We use genetic mouse models, single cell transcriptomics, imaging, and a wide array of molecular and cellular biology tools to understand adipose tissue development, function, and metabolism. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and collaborative team of scientists, committed to fostering a culture of teamwork and the highest level of scientific rigor and integrity.
