Dr. Heming Wang’s lab at the Program in Sleep Medicine Epidemiology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School invites applicants for a postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will work on genetic epidemiology studies for sleep (including questionnaire, actigraphy, and polysomnography data) and the impact on cardiovascular outcomes using diverse population-based cohorts. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with leading researchers in sleep physiology, genetics, and epidemiology from Harvard and national/international research consortia. This position is available immediately and will be open until it is filled.
· PhD in statistical genetics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, or a related field
· Experience in genetic and genomics data analysis is desired
· Strong programming skills in R/Python
· Good oral and written communication skills in English
