Senior Associate Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join the Protein Expression Sciences Technology Development team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our library screening efforts for the discovery of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.

In this role a typical day might include the following:

• Conducting standard molecular biology techniques, including PCR, cloning, and DNA/RNA purification.
• Designing and cloning DNA libraries.
• Performing next-generation sequencing (NGS).
• Engineering and maintaining cell lines.
• Documenting experimental methods, materials, and results in an electronic laboratory notebook.
• Providing regular progress updates and presenting data at departmental meetings.

To be considered for this role, you must have a BS or MS in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology with 3-5 years of experience. Preference will be given to those with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA purification, PCR, and molecular cloning as well as mammalian cell culture. Attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills are required. A team-oriented and proactive mindset is essential for this role.

$80,300.00 – $131,100.00
