The GeeleherLab is seeking an outstanding candidate with a strong quantitative background and expertise in statistical modeling or machine learning in biology/genomics. We are primarily working on dissecting pediatric neuroblastoma tumor heterogeneity using single cell and spatial genomics technologies, and identifying/pursuing new therapeutic strategies for these tumors based on large preclinical drug screening datasets (e.g. DepMap).
This is a high-paying postdoc-equivalent position (min. 75k starting salary + excellent benefits, approx. 3k annual pay increase given reasonable progress, very affordable cost of living in Memphis). Initial appointment is for 2 years, but is expected to be extended for a further 3-4 years. If desired, candidates will be supported in applying for important postdoc level grants, such as the K99.
