Ikui Lab at Brooklyn College is looking for a motivated post-doctoral fellow with experience with cell biology and genetics. Our lab mission is to elucidate mechanisms of cell cycle control in budding yeast and mammalian cells. Current projects but not limited to:
1. Control of DNA replication by phosphatases; PP2A and Cdc14
2. A role of Protein Kinase C in cell size control
Brooklyn College is a part of The City University of New York and is located in the historical neighborhood in the middle of Brooklyn. Ikui Lab welcomes scientists from all backgrounds and values diversity in our community. Salary will be determined by experience in accordance with NIH guidelines.
Candidates should hold Ph.D. degree in cell biology, molecular biology and/or genetics. Preferences will be given to the candidates who have experience in time-lapse and ChIP-seq analysis.
