The Iyer laboratory at the University of Tulsa is looking to hire a motivated and committed Research Technician to study the molecular mechanisms of centrosome duplication and ciliogenesis. A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology or a related field is required. Experience with C. elegans genetics is preferred. Job duties include making lab media and reagents to ensure proper functioning of the lab, performing C. elegans microinjections, maintaining an up-to-date lab notebook, placing lab orders and assisting with experiments as required.
