I am Tatsuhisa Tsuboi, a new tenure-track assistant professor at the Tsinghua University-Shenzhen.
I am recruiting some postdocs who are interested in image analysis and biochemistry assay related to mitochondria and translation. My lab will analyze the regulatory mechanism of translation on the mitochondria surface and plan to conduct drug screening using the information of mitochondrial morphology. I am recruiting an expert in image processing and biochemistry to conduct my research. I am hoping to provide the experience of analyzing single molecules and further drug screening methodology.
I also attached my homepage (https://sites.google.com/view/tatsu-research) for your reference. Please don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail if you are interested.
On a side note, the Shenzhen government supports incoming postdocs very generously.
For the Chinese Ph.D. students, I am aware that because of the COVID-19 restriction, many good students cannot move overseas for postdoctoral experience, but my lab will run in English and may cover what you are expected for your postdoctoral period. I can also support you to move to your next career in the future.
