Seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join our Immunology lab at UCLA.
Applicants need to have a PhD, ScD, or DPhil, preferably in the field of immunology. Our laboratory focuses on understanding and manipulating the immune system to fight infections, autoimmunity, and cancer, with a special emphasis on T cells.
Qualifications include:
• Track record of starting, finishing, and publishing high quality work
• Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to new tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Expertise in all standard laboratory approaches in immunology including flow cytometry
• Experience in working with mice (desirable)
• Comfortable working with samples including human blood
• Ability to work at biosafety level 2
• Experience in analyzing and visualizing data
• Experience with sterile techniques
• Ability to maintain laboratory notebooks and data integrity
• Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Experience as a science mentor
