The Department of Molecular Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval seeks candidates to fill a position as a research professor in a field of expertise linked to biomedical sciences, including neuroimmunology, oncology, cardiorespiratory and metabolic disorders, genetics, and medicinal chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to establish an independent, innovative, and productive research program, secure funding from external sources, and train highly qualified personnel, including graduate students.
To be considered, candidates will have: 1) completed a PhD in a relevant discipline; 2) at least 2 years of experience as a post-doctoral fellowship or equivalent; 3) demonstrated scientific creativity and productivity; and 4) expressed a desire and ability to integrate a collaborative environment that respects Université Laval’s values of diversity and inclusion.
The application must include: 1) a letter of motivation; 2) a curriculum vitae; 3) a summary of research experience, scientific background and main contributions (2 pages); and 4) a summary of the proposed research program (3 pages).
