A postdoc and/or research tech positions are available in Dr. Fouda’s lab at the UAMS Pharmacology and Toxicology department (Little Rock, AR). The lab focuses on studying the molecular mechanism underlying retina and brain ischemic and traumatic injury. The lab employs different molecular biology techniques including bench (Western blotting, PCR, immunohistochemistry, etc.) and cell culture work. The position involves working with rodents and prior experience with mice is recommended.
A Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences is required for applying as a postdoc but not as a research tech.
The applicant will join a group of collegial and collaborative researchers and will be able to grow his/her research and apply for grants to further pursue an academic career.
