The Laboratory of Social Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles (http://hong-lab.com) is recruiting a senior scientist (e.g. assistant or associate project scientist; the specific job title depends on experiences). The lab studies the neural circuit mechanisms that govern social behavior, using mice as a model system. The primary role of this position is to work with the PI in guiding directions of the lab, facilitate collaborations, and assist with professional writing such as grant applications, and other research activities. The candidate should have a PhD in neuroscience-related areas and 0-5 years of postdoctoral experiences. Candidates should have research experiences in neural circuits and behavior.
