The Manoli Lab in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Center for Integrative Neuroscience at the University of California, San Francisco is currently recruiting for an open, funded, postdoctoral position. Research will focus on understanding the neural mechanisms underlying social attachment in prairie vole models. This project relates to the deficits in social communication and attachment that occur as a consequence of mutations associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Techniques used include genomics, calcium imaging (miniature microscopes, fiber photometry), behavior, and data analysis. To apply, please contact Dev Manoli (Devanand.Manoli@ucsf.edu) with CV, brief description of previous work and research interests, and contact information for references.
