The group of Sebastian Pott at the University of Chicago is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to develop and apply novel single-cell and single-molecule epigenomic assays. We aim to develop our previously established protocol for scNOMe-seq into a broadly applicable platform for single-cell and, using long-read sequencing, single-molecule applications. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to design their own study, and collect large scale data for analysis. This position is funded by an NIH grant.
The candidate should have experience with the application of NGS and/or single cell genomics protocols and a strong background in functional genomics, molecular biology, or biochemistry. The candidate should have some experience with analysis and interpretation of high-throughput genomics data.
