Post-transcriptional gene regulation; microRNAs and RNA-binding proteins; high-throughput identification of transcriptomic regulatory elements; interface of genetic variation with RNA regulation, mechanisms and therapies for cardiovascular, neurological, and metabolic disease; biological and therapeutic applications of gene manipulation; discovery and characterization of novel microproteins
