We are seeking an individual to lead bioinformatics analyses of our basic biological sciences data such as single-cell RNA seq data, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, etc. Ideal candidate should be proficient in working in Bash scripting and working with LINUX environments; be proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, systemPipeR); and have knowledge and experience with advanced statistics (e.g. Regression Models and Time Series). Suitable candidates will work within my research group at the University of Kentucky, Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics.
