University of Massachusetts Lowell, Department of Biological Sciences
The Lab Manager will oversee technical operations of the Department and support the educational laboratories. This person will be responsible for all Departmental laboratory equipment (user training, maintenance, and monitoring user compliance), will provide support for educational laboratories, will serve as the Departmental Safety Officer, will manage the work-study students, and will provide general assistance and coordination for new faculty research lab set up.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Masters degree in Biology or related discipline
Three to five years experience in a laboratory setting
This is a complex job that requires a broad and in-depth knowledge of biology and the tools used to conduct biological research
Significant experience in a laboratory setting is preferred
