Faryabi Lab has multiple positions for computational postdocs, bioinformaticians, developers, and data analysts.
You will be part of an enthusiastic and goal-oriented team to advance our recent studies (https://faryabilab.com/research) and elucidate mechanisms of aberrant gene expression in diabetes and cancer. Faryabi Lab (https://faryabilab.com) is supported by National Cancer Institute, Human Pancreatic Analysis Program (HPAP), and Susan G Komen to use cutting edge technologies to investigate mechanisms of epigenetic deregulation and genome misfolding. Faryabi Lab combines the latest sequencing and imaging techniques and develops novel computational methods and infrastructures to identify chromatin activity and folding at single-cell resolution. The lab is a core member of Penn Epigenetics Institute, Abramson Cancer Center, and Institute for Biomedical Informatics, which together provides a rich multi-disciplinary environment for individuals interesting in computational and chromatin biology.
Demonstrated experience and/or strong publication record in data visualization, machine learning, image processing, web development, or epigenomics is required.
