A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Urbain Weyemi at the University of Texas at Austin to study genomic instability and metabolic reprogramming in cancer. The project focuses on deciphering the interplay between deficiency in DNA repair genes and deregulated mitochondrial metabolism in cancer cells. We will use both genome-wide gene expression arrays and metabolomics to assess relationship between DNA repair and cancer cells aggressiveness and metastasis.
