Positions available for 2 postdoctoral fellowships in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, The University of Texas Medical Branch to participate in the NIH sponsored projects on host-microbiota interaction at the intestines in the regulation of intestinal homeostasis and the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases.
The required qualification is a doctoral degree in immunology, cell biology, or a related field. Experience in T cells, DC, IEC, microbiome, cell imaging, western blotting, siRNA, and CRISPR-Cas, as well as metabolic regulation of immune responses, are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to design and execute projects independently but also in close collaboration with other members of the team; independence and ability to collaborate are therefore requirements.
