Quantitative analysis of receptor interactions and signaling
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Khuloud Jaqaman, in the Department of Biophysics and the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The project will focus on the quantitative analysis of receptor interactions and signaling using single-molecule and super-resolution imaging data. It will build on some of our recent publications, such as da Rocha-Azevedo et al. Cell Reports 2020 and de Oliveira & Jaqaman Biophys. J. 2019.
The Jaqaman lab consists of computational and experimental students and postdoctoral fellows, working together to address questions related to cell surface receptor organization, interactions and signaling.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a computational field, such as (but not limited to) computational biophysics, biomedical engineering or computer science. Publications in peer-reviewed journals are expected.
Information on the UT Southwestern postdoctoral training program and benefits can be found in the UT Southwestern Postdoc Handbook or at http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/postdocs.
Interested individuals should send a CV, a research statement describing past accomplishments and current interests, and a list of three references to Khuloud Jaqaman.
UT Southwestern Medical Center is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Women, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
