We are hiring a Post-Grad Research Assistant/Technician to be engaged in non-human primate social neuroscience research in the Chang lab at Yale University (https://changlab.yale.edu).
Applicants with the following qualifications are particularly encouraged to apply: (a) experience in working with animals in behavioral settings or (b) experience in working as a veterinarian-technician. This post-grad research assistant/technician will be involved in behaviorally training non-human primates in various behavioral tasks and generally managing an animal colony. This individual will coordinate with other members of the lab as a supporting role across multiple research projects. This position requires great organizational skills to manage across multiple projects. This individual may also lead a research project within the lab in a collaborative setting.
Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. We will try our best to accommodate candidate’s schedule. This position may be ideal for an individual planning to apply to a graduate program within a couple of years as well as to an individual who plans to be a long-term member of the lab.
The neuroscience community at Yale is highly active and involves multiple academic departments, including the Departments of Psychology, Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, and more. Further, the Yale Wu Tsai Institute, the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience, and the Swartz Center for Theoretical Neurobiology provide excellent opportunities for postdoctoral training.
