Post-doctoral positions available for highly motivated and creative candidates to join the Mathieu Bakhoum Laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine. Candidates with a background in cell biology, genetics, epigenetics or mouse work are highly encouraged to apply.
The Bakhoum laboratory at Yale (www.bakhoumlab.org) focuses on understanding mechanisms that drive metastasis in melanoma. Our goal is to translate this knowledge to develop non-invasive biomarkers for diagnosis and metastatic surveillance, and to identify targets that can be employed to treat the primary and metastatic disease. Approaches utilized will include next-Generation sequencing, single-cell genomics, high-resolution imaging, mouse models, molecular cloning and biochemical assays.
Postdoctoral researchers will have direct access to state-of-the-art microscopy as well as world-class animal and core facilities. Furthermore, they will be part of a vibrant and collaborative scientific environment at Yale University.
Yale aims to provide the support and activities that will help staff balance the multiple responsibilities associated with work, academic, and personal life, including resources for housing, childcare and career development. https://postdocs.yale.edu/
