This is a Term 12 position with an end date of July 31, 2028. Location – This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.
As the largest Speech-Language Pathology department in Canada, the University of Alberta MScSLP program offers students a wide variety of academic and clinical experiences supported by an extensive network of dedicated academic and clinical educators and preceptors. In the Fall of 2024, the program expanded to include a new satellite site at the U of A Augustana Campus in Camrose. The MScSLP Satellite program is one of three professional programs (including MScOT and MScPT) in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FRM) that is at the Augustana campus.
We are seeking a candidate with clinical expertise in Adult neurogenic communication disorders (i.e., Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia of Speech) and other areas of practice specific to the adult population (e.g., Voice, Resonance, Dysphagia). This position is heavily focused on clinical supervision within the in-house Corbett Speech-Language Clinic, with the possibility of supporting students in Advanced Clinical Practica. Included in this position is also support for clinic coordination and client recruitment. There is the potential for some classroom teaching which may also include co-instruction, lab support, guest lecturing, course coordination, and primary instruction in courses related to the candidate's areas of expertise.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with Schedule D of the Collective Agreement between the Board of Governors of the University of Alberta and the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta.
