The Plant-PATH center and the Pedersen group at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University, Denmark, are looking for a highly skilled and motivated assistant professor with expertise in molecular dynamics simulations on membrane proteins.
Expected start date and duration of employment: The funding is provided for 2 years of employment. The expected start date is 1st Month 2026.
Job description: The position is intended to strengthen the Plant-PATH (Center for Active Transport of Plant Hormones) by providing expertise in molecular dynamics simulations applied to plant membrane transporters, elucidating the underlying biophysical mechanisms of hormone transport. The selected candidate will work closely with the laboratory of Bjørn Pedersen at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University.
