Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in Medical Physics Full-time

This hiring aims to strengthen the division's research activity in Medical Physics, or related areas. We are looking for a future leader in these disciplines who is willing to foster the interaction between physicists, clinician, and engineers at NTU through the development of ambitious research programs.

Candidates Are Expected To

• Establish a world-class research program
• Enhance the School's visibility as an international leader in education and research
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers
• Foster academic/industrial collaborations in Singapore

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality innovative research in terms of publishing top-tier papers
• Giving invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel
• Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Giving academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
• Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles
• Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by the School and University

Requirements

• PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline
• Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
• A good track record of securing research grants
• A good track record of supervising students, and interns in relevant fields
• Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
