The MIPCART research group conducts clinical and preclinical research in radiotherapy and imaging of prostate cancer. The group consists of researchers with various backgrounds, including medical physicists, molecular biologists, and physicians. The research is largely carried out at BMC and LBIC (preclinical research) and at the university hospital using various clinical imaging systems.

We are now seeking an assistant researcher at 20% starting on April 1, 2026, with permanent employment.

The assistant researcher will participate in the research group's nuclear medicine projects as well as other closely related projects. The researcher will take part in planning and operating preclinical radionuclide therapy experiments. Within such projects, the researcher will also perform measurements using a CZT-based gamma camera owned by the group, as well as other imaging systems, and carry out data analyses for dosimetric assessments. The researcher will also work with 3D modeling and 3D printing to produce phantoms and other equipment for evaluating the CZT camera system and expanding its areas of use. A small teaching component within the medical physics program may also be included.
