Richmond BioAnalytical Labs Overview:

Routinely acts as the technical project leader for multiple projects, interacts with clients on a weekly basis (or as needed) to provide updates, reviews and evaluates data, writes reports and protocols.

Responsible for the regulatory and scientific conduct of assay development, validation, and stability projects for new projects.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as biology, biochemistry, immunology, chemistry, molecular biology or similar.

Experience:

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 6+ year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 4+ year).

OR PhD (preferred) and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 2+ year).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Independently performs analytical testing, method optimization/validation, and/or other specialty technologies studies OR method transfers for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formulations and/or delivery systems. Understands and conforms to methods, and protocols applicable to assigned tasks.

Experience performing immunoassays, ELISA or similar testing.

Designs and completes experiments independently.

Prepares and reviews study protocols, project status reports, final study reports and other project-related technical documents.

Communicates data and technical issues to clients as needed.

Leads analytical (procedural and instrumental) trouble shooting sessions.

Validated problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Confirmed ability in technical writing skills.

Ability to train junior staff.
