Summarized Purpose:
The Associate Scientist will perform the following activities for the process development of large molecule drug substances. They will be responsible for implementing and optimizing experimental protocols, authoring scientific reports in the areas of purification, analysis, chemical modification, process development and scale-up of polysaccharides intermediates and drug substances. The Associate Scientist will be responsible for implementing and optimizing experimental protocols in the areas of development and execution of downstream processes in different research and development contexts (early development, processability, process development, process understanding, troubleshooting, stability test, etc).

Education and Experience:
Bachelors in related fields such as Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1+ years' relevant experience.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $24.00–$27.00.
