The Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) is accepting applications for 1 (one) FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship, linked to the Center for Molecular Engineering for Advanced Materials (CEMol) – CEPID/FAPESP.
The selected fellow will work on the characterization of biomolecular coronas in nanomaterials, colloidal stability in complex biological media, and in vitro biological and toxicological effects, using advanced integrated techniques such as cryo-electron microscopy, omics analyses, synchrotron light, and computational approaches.
The fellow will also be responsible for integrating experimental and theoretical results, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
Candidate Requirements:
PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or related fields;
Experience with experimental work in Nanomaterials Chemistry, Synchrotron Light, and Cell Biology;
Advanced knowledge in nanobiointerfaces and nanotoxicology;
Strong scientific writing skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Fellowship Details:
The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of R$ 12,570.00 (approximately USD 2,315.00). Additionally, the fellow will have access to a Technical Reserve corresponding to 10% of the annual fellowship value, intended to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the planned activities.
